Gabriel Prokofiev: Concerto for Turntables No. 1 & Cello Concerto
In 2020, the british composer Gabriel Prokofiev released a CD on the label Signum Classics, with Ural Philharmonic Orchestra, conductor Alexei Bogorad, soloists Mr.Switch and Boris Andrianov.
The Cello Concerto was commissioned by Alexander Ivashkin, and he was a first performer of this work on 18 May 2013 at St.Petersburg Philharmonic Hall. This CD recording is dedicated to the memory of Alexander Ivashkin (click the 2nd image).
